HSAB L&D Strategy 2025-2027
The Harrow Safeguarding Adults Board (HSAB) Strategy for safeguarding learning and development is designed for all organisations involved in safeguarding adults. This includes third-party organisations, commissioned training providers, voluntary sectors, and multi-agency partners. The Strategy outlines the requirements and expectations of the HSAB and its partners to ensure that the workforce is supported and equipped to meet the needs of Harrow’s citizens.
It is essential for HSAB that all agencies and services are fulfilling their learning and development commitments. Together, we also work collaboratively and in a co-ordinated manner to share learning and development opportunities. The core content requirements for adult safeguarding learning & development activity is being developed as part of the strategy and we are using it as a reference the National Safeguarding Competency Framework (https://eprints.bournemouth.ac.uk/33831/1/Concise-National-Competency-Safeguarding-Framework.pdf) and the NHS Intercollegiate Guidance (https://www.rcn.org.uk/Professional-Development/publications/rcn-adult-safeguarding-roles-and-competencies-for-health-care-staff-011-256)
