Privacy Notice & Information Sharing
Through this privacy notice Harrow Safeguarding Children Partnership and Harrow Safeguarding Adults Board have sought to be transparent in explaining how personal information is held and processed. This notice explains how we collect, use and share personal information, how we keep it and how we keep it secure.
This privacy notice also explains when and why we process personal information about people who engage or come into contact with us, whether via our learning and development offer, or those whose children have been subject to reviews.
Information collected about you
Website: The only personal data that Harrow Safeguarding Children Partnership (HSCP) & Harrow Safeguarding Adults Board (HSAB) capture is through use of Cookies in browsing these sites Please see out Cookies Policy for more information.
Training: Personal information required to access multi-agency training is through membership of the SS4e training platform (hosted by London Borough of Harrow) to enable safeguarding professionals and members of the wider public in Harrow to access multi-agency safeguarding training. Detailed information about how this information is collected, processed, stored, retained and access rights can be found here.
Other activities: We may collect data about you from different sources including from email enquiries and referrals.
Why we need & what we do with personal information
Website/Newsletters: Should Harrow Safeguarding Children Partnership or Harrow Safeguarding Adults Board seek to establish subscription-based newsletters in future that involves signup through our website, this privacy notice will be updated to reflect information collected, reason for processing, storage, access and complaint information.

Other Activities: In the event you do choose to email us with personal information, then we may receive the following information:
- personal identifiers and contacts (such as name, unique pupil number o rother identifying numbers, contact details and address)
- characteristics (such as ethnicity, language, and free school meal eligibility)
- safeguarding information (such as court orders and professional involvement)
- special educational needs (including the needs and ranking)
- medical information
- any other such personal information as is received.
Where you choose to email Harrow Safeguarding Children Partnership or Harrow Safeguarding Adults Board, the personal information you give us is used by Harrow Safeguarding Children Partnership/Harrow Safeguarding Adults Board to provide the advice/service(s) you requested. This can include sharing this information with local safeguarding services.

Data Protection
Any/all data processing and storage will be undertaken in accordance with the UK GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) and Data Protection Act 2018.
All who receive any newsletters, promotional emails and learning and development information will have opted in with their consent, as outlined in Article 6 (1)(a) GDPR.
